Robert Kaeser,Jr.of Lakeview Construction Inc. and Loren W. Dorrah of Advanced Power LLC. Among the things we discussed was the option of using the roofed structure over the electrical panels,originally I preferred to not use it because of aesthetics and it just looked too big and go with a similar set up that you are referencing in your e-mail below.After the discussion we were comfortable with relocation and minimizing the size of the roof. The one at LS 37 is a standalone cabinet that has the transfer switch located inside of it and the meter and disconnect attached to the outside. Due to the way the Onan transfer switch is constructed they are best to be protected from the weather conditions so it will need to be inside of a weather resistant cabinet but not need to be a standalone type as it will be under the roof with all of the other components,telemetry cabinet, disconnect,transformer etc. Here is a link to the type of transfer switches we have standardized LINK there is a link with dimensions on that page also.
