Gordon Witcher
From: Rick Osborne
Sent: Wednesday,August 13, 2014 3:30 PM
To: 'grs@coredesigninc.com'
Cc: 'bobkaeser@msn.com; Gordon Witcher; Rick Osborne
Subject: RE: Simpson site Polygon lift station
Last week I had a visit from H. Robert Kaeser,Jr.of Lakeview Construction Inc. and Loren W. Dorrah of Advanced Power
LLC.
Among the things we discussed was the option of using the roofed structure over the electrical panels, originally I
preferred to not use it because of aesthetics and it just looked too big and go with a similar set up that you are
referencing in your e-mail below. After the discussion we were comfortable with relocation and minimizing the size of
the roof.
The one at LS 37 is a standalone cabinet that has the transfer switch located inside of it and the meter and disconnect
attached to the outside. Due to the way the Onan transfer switch is constructed they are best to be protected from the
weather conditions so it will need to be inside of a weather resistant cabinet but not need to be a standalone type as it
will be under the roof with all of the other components, telemetry cabinet, disconnect, transformer etc.
Here is a link to the type of transfer switches we have standardized LINK there is a link with dimensions on that page
also.
Ricky Osborne
City of Everett
425-257-7230
rosborne@everettwa.gov
From: grs@coredesigninc.com [mailto:grs@coredesigninc.com]
Sent: Monday, August 11, 2014 10:24 AM
To: Rick Osborne
Cc: bobkaeser@msn.com; ron.bowen@polygonhomes.com
Subject: RE: Simpson site Polygon lift station
Thanks Rick. We will get these shown on the plans.
Also, were you able to find the plan for the panel cover you want to use from LS 71? We did not receive anything with
our comments.
Gary Sharnbroich, P.E.
Principal/Sr. Project Manager
Core Design Inc.
14711 NE 29th Place,Suite 101 s Bellevue,WA
98007 Tel 425.885.7877 6 Fax 425.885.7963
1
