March 14, 2018 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., March 14, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council Member Murphy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members <br /> Moore, Murphy, McNeal, and Stonecipher were present. Council Members <br /> Roberts, Bader, and Tuohy were excused. <br /> Council Member McNeal led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 7, 2018, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Police Chief Templeman introduced Police Officer Trainee Ana Perdomo. <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member McNeal, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to concur with the appointment of Ana Perdomo as a <br /> new police officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Roberts, Bader, and Tuohy who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The City Clerk administered the Oath of Office, and Mayor Franklin <br /> presented Officer Perdomo with her badge. <br /> Mayor Franklin read a statement, which she issued today on National <br /> Walkout Day, expressing her support of students and pledging to work to <br /> reduce gun violence in Everett. <br /> 95 <br />
