b. Structures temporary or permanent provided: <br /> (1) Structure shall have a low flood damage potential. <br /> (11) When permitted, structures shall offer minimum obstruction <br /> to the flow of flood waters: <br /> (a) By being parallel to the direction of flood flow. <br /> (b) By locating on the same flood flow lines as adjoining <br /> structures <br /> (iii.) Structures shall be firmly anchored to prevent <br /> flotation. <br /> (iv) Electrical and heating equipment shall be constructed <br /> two (2) feet above the regulatory flood protection <br /> elevation. <br /> c. That, as a minimum, conditional uses shall satisfy the <br /> requirements of Federal Regulations TITLE 24 CFR, Section 1910.3. <br /> is hereby amended to read: <br /> D. FLOODWAY DISTRICT <br /> 1 . Permitted Uses <br /> The following uses which have a low flood danger potential and do not <br /> obstruct flood flows shall be permitted within the Floodway District <br /> provided they are not prohibited by any other ordinance and provided <br /> they do not require structures, fill or storage of materials or <br /> equipment, and meet the requirements of Federal Regulations Title (24 <br /> CFR) Section 1910.3. <br /> -10- <br />
