ysyy <br /> RESOLUTION No. 6583 <br /> Resolution for Expenditure of 2013 Human Needs Funding <br /> WHEREAS, the City allocates funding each year to be used for human needs <br /> programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, $309,900 is included in the 2013 budget for this purpose; and <br /> WHEREAS, there exists in the community a call for monies to supplement human needs <br /> programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council adopted priorities for Human Needs funding on November <br /> 7, 2012; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Advisory Committee, formed to make annual <br /> recommendations to the City Council for allocation of these funds, has voted to recommend <br /> funding as listed below; <br /> 1. American Red Cross Snohomish County Chapter: Disaster Relief for $5,000 <br /> Everett Residents <br /> 2. Arc of Snohomish County: Counseling and Guidance, Shelter/Food, and $25,000 <br /> Health Services <br /> 3. Arts Council of Snohomish County: Art Alternatives $3,500 <br /> 4. Boys& Girls Clubs: Kids'Café $4,000 <br /> 5. Bridgeways: Supported Employment Program and Transitional $20,000 <br /> Housing Program <br /> 6. Casino Road Kids Ministries: Homework Club $2,000 <br /> 7. Catholic Community Services: Volunteer Chore Services and Family $14,000 <br /> and Children's Services <br /> 8. Cocoon House: Emergency Shelter for Teens and Youth Needs Outreach $25,000 <br /> 9. Community Health Center: Health Services for Uninsured, Low Income $5,000 <br /> &Homeless Youth <br /> 10. Compass Health: Cocoon House Youth Counseling $20,000 <br /> 11. Compass Health: Bailey Peer Center $7,000 <br /> 12. Dawson Place Child Advocacy: Center Coordinator $18,000 <br /> 13. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County: Children's Program $18,000 <br /> 14. Everett Gospel Mission: Mobile Dental Van $6,000 <br /> 15. Everett Gospel Mission: Project Homeless Connect $1,000 <br /> 16. Everett United Church of Christ: Soup Kitchen $2,000 <br /> 17. Friends of Youth: New Ground Everett Transitional Living $4,200 <br /> 18. Full Life Care: Adult Day Services for Elders and Disabled Individuals $5,000 <br /> 19.
