The Notes are to be dated <br /> December 23, or as of the date of settlement and are to be due October 1, <br /> 1986. The Notes are to bear interest at the rate of 6.25% payable at maturity <br /> (on the basis of 30 day month/360 day year). The Notes are not subject to <br /> redemption prior to maturity. <br /> This offer is expressly subject to the following: <br /> 1. That printed Notes, acceptable to Harper, McLean & Company will be <br /> available at settlement. <br /> 2. That settlement shall occur on or before December 30, 1985. <br /> 3. That the Notes shall be accompanied by the unqualified approving <br /> legal opinion of Roberts & Shefelman, bond counsel of Seattle, <br /> Washington. <br /> 4.
