Today, <br /> GeoDesign noted that the lot area had been backfilled to plan bottom of footing with a 2-inch clean crushed railroad ballast <br /> material which had been tamped into a firm and unyielding mass. <br /> It is the opinion of GeoDesign that the exposed foundation area observed today is currently suitable for support of the <br /> intended structure. <br /> LOT 260: <br /> Previously, GeoDesign noted that the west 1/4 of Lot 260 had been over-excavated 6 inches to 1.5 feet and east side had <br /> been over-excavated approximately 1 foot.Today, GeoDesign noted that the lot area had been backfilled to plan bottom of <br /> footing with a 2-inch clean crushed railroad ballast material which had been tamped into a firm and unyielding mass. <br /> It is the opinion of GeoDesign that the exposed foundation area observed today is currently suitable for support of the <br /> intended structure. <br /> A summary of our observations can be found in the attached Figure 1. <br /> This report presents opinions formed as a result of our observation of activities relating to geotechnical engineering or environmental services.We rely on the contractor to comply with the plans and <br /> specifications throughout the duration of the project Irrespective of the presence of our representative.Our work does not Include supervision or direction of the contractor,the contractor's employees <br /> or agents.
