The VC was already issued for the junk and cars. I noticed the structure during a compliance inspection yesterday and advised him that he needed to contact the building dept. I will need to issue a 2nd VC to address the building w/o permits. If he comes in to take care of this please let me know.Thanks! Thanks,Tony From: Spring Wathen Sent: Monday, April 11, 2011 3:54 PM To: Ted Budden; Tony Lee; Jeff Heilman Subject: 31 - 112th St SE I have an open case for the above subject property case#11-0059 I received information from ETD and EPD of a garage fire at this location and the number of cars and other debris, auto parts, scrap metal, ect that was observed by those responding to the early morning fire. A VC was issued to the property owner, Earl Benson and to the tenant Paul Hendrickson for the operation of a junk yard. An inspection of the property today revealed that a garage is being constructed. I advised Paul that permits are required and told him to contact the building dept today or first thing tomorrow. Attached are photographs of the fire damaged structure taken on 2-3-11 and photographs taken today of the new construction.
