GeoDesign recommends that any surficially loose and saturated material be removed from the base of <br /> the footing areas prior to the placement of concrete. <br /> Lot 261: <br /> Upon arrival,GeoDesign noted that DDS had completed excavation of the footing and crawl space area for Lot 261. <br /> GeoDesign noted that the exposed foundation subgrade consisted of a brown to gray-brown silty SAND(f-m)with gravel <br /> (f-c)which could generally be probed less than 2 inches using a 1/2 inch diameter soil probe.
