4111 a <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3492-16 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating the special construction fund entitled "Main <br /> Library Window Replacement Project", Fund 342, Program 019, authorizing <br /> the design and construction to replace the existing wood windows at the <br /> Main Library. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need to replace the existing wood <br /> windows located at 2702 Hoyt Avenue. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 342, Program 019 <br /> entitled "Main Library Window Replacement Project" to accumulate the design and <br /> construction costs required to replace the existing wood windows. <br /> Section 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Facilities/Property Management <br /> Director under the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for <br /> conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions <br /> authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> Section 3: The estimated cost of the project, including costs related to design, <br /> construction, equipment, and contract administration shall be determined at the <br /> completion of design development. <br /> Section 4: The sum of $325,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 342, Program 019 <br /> "Main Library Window Replacement Project". <br /> A. Use of Funds <br /> Design $ 24,000 <br /> Construction 300,000 <br /> Project Costs 1,000 <br /> Total $ 325,000 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> CIP 1 $325,000 <br /> C. The appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to <br /> year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or <br /> abandoned without the necessity of re-appropriation. <br />
