Agreement with Perteet Inc. January 2018 <br /> PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br /> Perteet has been requested to provide additional planning support associated with the Everett Public Works <br /> Department Preparedness Initiative through December 31,2019. The department has identified gaps in their <br /> current emergency preparedness planning and desires additional support to implement the planning and <br /> programmatic actions identified within the Gap Analysis. <br /> GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Perteet has been requested to provide a scope of work,fee,and schedule to assist the Everett Public Works <br /> Department with its emergency preparedness.Perteet's work will be consistent with FEMA Comprehensive <br /> Planning Guide 101 (CPG 101)and the standards of care in the National Fire Protection Association 1600 (NFPA <br /> 1600)and include the following activities: <br /> 1. Disaster Debris Management Planning <br /> • Perteet will coordinate,assist,and review with the Public Works Department's efforts to develop a <br /> plan specific to the City and annex into the FEMA approved Snohomish County Disaster Debris <br /> Management Plan. <br /> 2. Training,Testing,and Exercise <br /> • Assist with development of a training,testing,and exercise program. <br /> • Plan,coordinate,and facilitate planned table top exercises and other activities as directed by the City <br /> Project Manager. <br /> • Assist with planning for the South Whidbey Fault Exercise 2019 to ensure Public Works'goals and <br /> objectives are achieved. <br /> 3. Everett Public Works Emergency Response Plan <br /> • Assist with updates to various elements and components of the plan. <br /> 4. Public Works Operations Center Handbook <br /> • Coordinate,assist,and review with the development of a customized Public Works Operations Center <br /> Handbook. <br /> 5. Attend Everett Public Works Emergency Preparation Team meetings as requested. <br /> 6.
