• <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. //0?g-a'c <br /> An ordinance adopting regulations, requirements and procedures for <br /> Boundary Line Adjustments and repealing Section 3 of Ordinance 4816-81 (E.M.C. <br /> 18.44.163) . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: ADMINISTRATION <br /> A. Title <br /> B. Jurisdiction <br /> C. Applicability <br /> D. Adminstration <br /> E. Definitions <br /> A. Title: <br /> This ordinance shall be known as the "Boundary Line Adjustment <br /> Ordinance of the City of Everett" and the requirements set forth in <br /> this Ordinance are applicable to all boundary line adjustments. <br /> B. Jurisdiction: <br /> These regulations shall apply to all boundary line adjustments within <br /> the incorporated area of the City of Everett. <br /> C. Applicability: <br /> Every adjustment of one or more boundary lines which does not create <br /> additional lots shall proceed in compliance with this Ordinance. <br /> D. Administration: <br /> The Planning Director shall have the duty and responsibility of <br /> administering the provisions of this Ordinance with the authority to <br /> approve or disapprove all boundary line adjustments, and to promulgate <br /> rules and regulations to administer this Ordinance. <br /> E. Definitions: <br /> 1. Applicant: Any person proposing a boundary line adjustment of <br /> any lot, tract or parcel. <br /> 2. Boundary Line Adjustment: A division made for the purpose of <br /> adjusting boundary lines which does not create any additional <br /> lot, tract, parcel, site, or division, nor create any lot, tract, <br /> parcel, site, or division which contains insufficient area and <br /> dimension to meet minimum zoning code requirements and is done <br /> according to the requirements of this Ordinance. <br /> 3. Boundary Lines: Lines that separate and establish an area with <br /> fixed limits for lots, tracts, or parcels. <br /> 4. City: For purpose of this ordinance, it shall be the City of <br /> Everett. <br /> 5. Lot: A fractional part of divided lands having fixed boundaries <br /> and being of sufficient area and dimension to meet minimum zoning <br /> requirements for width and area.
