Such report shall 18 include a summary of the Examiner's decisions since the last Examiner's report. 19 20 Section 6: That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 692-80 as amended by Section 4 21 of Ordinance No. 819-81 reads as follows: 22 Section 16: PUBLIC HEARING. 23 Before rendering a decision or recommendation on any application, the 24 examiner shall hold at least one public hearing thereon. Notice of the time and place of the public hearing shall be given as provided in the 25 ordinance governing the application. If none is specifically set forth, such notice shall be given at least ten working days prior to such hearing by 26 mailing notification to property owners per County Assessor records within five hundred feet (500') of the subject property and identified 27 neighborhood groups who have requested notice of land use matters. The applicant shall have the responsibility of providing the City with a list of 28 said property owners at his own expense and said list shall contain the true address of the property owner and not the address of a mortgage 29 lending company. If the true address cannot be ascertained, the address of the property shall be accepted; provided, however, any request for a 30 variance, special exception or appeal which is subject exclusively to the provisions of the Everett Municipal Code, Chapters 13.15 or 13.68, shall 31 be exempt from the provisions of this section. 32 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: -8-
