ORDINANCE NO. 11/r <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of <br /> the City of Everett as provided by <br /> Everett Municipal Code, Title 19, <br /> Ordinance 3572 as amended, <br /> rezoning certain property from <br /> R.S. to R-1 (Rezone #12-84 - Silver Lake Road). <br /> WHEREAS, on November 29th, 1984, the City of Everett Hearing Examiner <br /> held a public hearing regarding the rezone of the hereinafter described <br /> property from R.S., Suburban Residential to R-1 Single Family Low Density <br /> Residential, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has delegated to the Hearing Examiner final <br /> decision-making authority on rezones, such as the one described herein; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner rendered a decision dated December 18, <br /> 1984 wherein he approved the herein described rezone; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby adopt the Hearing Examiner's <br /> decision; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: <br /> SECTION 1: That the Hearing Examiner's decision rendered for the <br /> herein described rezone is in the best interest of the City of Everett and <br /> serves the general health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Everett. <br /> SECTION 2: That the proposed zoning change meets the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> SECTION 3: That the zoning map of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Everett Municipal Code, Title 19 (Ord. No. 3572, Section 4 as amended) is <br /> hereby amended from R-S Suburban Residential to R-1 Single Family Low Density <br /> Residential on the following described parcel: <br /> All that portion of Government Lot 6 and <br /> Government Lot 7, Section 30, Township 28 <br /> North, Range 5 East W.M. , lying west of County <br /> Road known as Silver Lake Drive and north of <br /> Silver Lake Road; <br /> Except that portion thereof lying west of the <br /> following described line: beginning at a point <br /> on the north line of Government Lot 6 which is <br /> 384 feet west of the northeast corner of said <br /> Lot 6, Section 30, Township 28 North, Range 5 <br /> East W.M., the true point of beginning of said <br /> line; thence south to the north line of Silver <br /> Lake Road being the terminus of the line herein <br /> described. <br /> 0591F <br />
