1 ORDINANCE NO. /v 9/-g5- <br /> 2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 539-78 as amended by <br /> 3 Ordinance No. 609-79, the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee <br /> ordinance, to allow the Board to be composed of seven members <br /> 4 instead of eleven members. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 609-79 which amended the <br /> 7 Animal Shelter Advisory Committee ordinance to provide for eleven members instead <br /> 8 of five; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 609-79 provides that the Committee shall be <br /> 10 composed of eleven members; and <br /> 11 WHEREAS, the City Council feels that the Committee should consist of seven <br /> 12 members instead of eleven; <br /> 13 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 14 Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 539-78 as amended by Ordinance <br /> 15 No. 609-79 which reads as follows: <br /> 16 <br /> "There is hereby created an Animal Shelter Advisory Board consisting of <br /> 17 eleven members." <br /> 18 <br /> be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 19 <br /> 20 "There is hereby created an Animal Shelter Advisory Board consisting of <br /> seven members." <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 :rte(, <br /> WILLIAM E.
