Adult entertainment facilities." 3 4 Subsection D of Section 15 of Ordinance No. 3572 is hereby amended to read 5 hereafter as follows: 6 "Prohibited uses. 7 A. Dwelling units, except for watchman or caretaker; 8 B. Hotels, motels; C. Hospitals; 9 D. Schools; E. Playgrounds; 10 F. Rooming, boarding and lodging houses; G. Sanitariums, rest homes and homes for the aged." 11 12 Section 3: That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or any 13 portion of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the 14 decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the 15 validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of 16 Everett hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance and each section, 17 subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of the fact that any 18 one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases or portions be declared 19 invalid or unconstitutional. 20 Section 4: That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to file the duly certified 21 copy of this ordinance with the County Auditor of Snohomish County, Washington. 22 Section 5: That Ordinance No. 1025-84, Ordinance No. 1031-84 and all other 23 ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. 24 25 ' - ' WILLIAM E.
