4 (4/.. // - 9c) •• ORDINANCE NO. /0 7 94,/ AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property within the area commonly known as Silver Lake to the City of Everett WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130, a petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain property; and WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to RCW 35.13.130 was signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix July 25, 1984, for hearing upon said petition, and cause notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the City, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval of the annexation; and WHEREAS, following the hearing, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, has determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board did, at their October 9, 1984 public hearing, vote 4-0 to approve the annexation; and WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board has issued its written findings on November 13, 1984, to this effect. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the property hereinafter described, be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett: All that portion of Section 19, 20, 29, and 30, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M. , described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Northerly right-of-way margin of 110th Street S.E. (aka Holmes Road), and the Easterly right-of-way margin of 19th Avenue S.E. (aka Bothell-Everett Highway); thence East along said North right-of-way line to intersect the Northerly projected East lot line of Lot 5, Block 1, Plat of Silver Lake according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 9 of Plats, page 24, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence South along said Northerly projection and said East lot line of said lot to intersect the North line of Lot 19 of said Block 1 of said Plat; thence East along said North line to the Northeast corner of said Lot 19; thence South along the East lot lines of Lots 19, 18, 17, and 16 of said Block 1 of said Plat to the Southeast corner of said Lot 16; -1-
