• <br /> w . <br /> 1 ORDINANCE NO. /00r5:- S7' <br /> 2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE establishing interim zoning for the purpose of regulating <br /> 3 adult oriented entertainment facilities by amending Ordinance <br /> No.'s 3572 and 499-78, and declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Council adopted Resolution No. 2413 <br /> 6 <br /> which sets forth the findings for adopting this interim ordinance and declares an <br /> 7 <br /> emergency to exist; <br /> 8 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 9 <br /> Section 1: That Subsection B of Section 14 of Ordinance No. 3572 which reads <br /> 10 <br /> as follows: <br /> 11 <br /> 12 "C-2 -- HEAVY COMMERCIAL - LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE <br /> 13 A. R-2 permitted uses with R-2 standards; <br /> B. R-4 permitted uses with R-4 standards; <br /> 14 C. B-3 permitted uses; <br /> D. C-1 permitted uses; <br /> 15 E. Auto wrecking yards with sight obscuring fence; <br /> F. Public transportation system terminals; <br /> 16 G. Bottling works for soft drinks only; <br /> H. Dyeing and dry cleaning plants; <br /> 17 I. Laundries; <br /> J. Machine shops; <br /> 18 K. Furniture manufacturing and repair; <br /> L. Blacksmith, welding and metal fabricating shops; <br /> 19 M. Commercial and wholesale bakeries; <br /> N. Boat building; <br /> 20 O. Sheet metal shops; <br /> P. Tinsmiths; <br /> 21 Q. Printing and publishing establishments; <br /> 22 R. Cereal mills; <br /> S. Flour or feed mill; <br /> 23 T. Grain elevators; <br /> U. Stone monument works; <br /> 24 V. Junk yards with sight obscuring fences; <br /> W. Manufacturing, compounding, processing, packaging, or treatment <br /> 25 of such products as bakery goods, candy, cosmetics, pharmaceu- <br /> ticals, toiletries, and food products; <br /> 26 X. Manufacturing of articles or merchandising from the following <br /> previously prepared materials: bone, canvas, cellophane, cloth, <br /> 27 cork, feathers, plastics, precious or semiprecious metals or stones, <br /> sheet metal no heavier than 14 gauge, shell, textiles, tobacco, wax, <br /> 28 wire, wood, or yarns; <br /> Y. Manufacturing of musical instruments, toys, novelties, rubber or <br /> 29 metal stamps, or other small moulded rubber products; <br /> Z. Manufacturing or assembling of electrical appliances, electronic <br /> 30 instruments and devices, radios, and phonographs; <br /> AA. Special property uses; (See Section 19.42.030.) <br /> BB.
