• <br /> Section 18: Violations - Penalty <br /> Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this <br /> chapter or any lawful rule or regulation adopted by the City Treasurer pursuant <br /> thereto, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine in any sum not to <br /> exceed Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00), or by imprisonment in jail for a term not <br /> exceeding ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> Section 19: Repealer <br /> On the effective date of this ordinance, the provisions of Ordinances 268-73, <br /> 339-74, 341-74 and 877-82 are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 20: Effectivity <br /> This ordinance shall become effective July 1, 1984 and shall apply to each <br /> gambling activity and its related revenue and taxation effective that date. The <br /> first tax returns affected by this ordinance covering the third quarter, July 1, 1984 <br /> through September 30, 1984, shall be due no later than October 15, 1984, in <br /> accordance with Section 7 of this ordinance. <br /> Section 21: Severability <br /> If any provision or section of this chapter shall be held void or <br /> unconstitutional all other parts, provisions and sections of this chapter not <br /> expressly so held to be void or unconstitutional shall continue in full force and <br /> effect. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Attest: <br /> -efte x.,411 <br /> Y CLERK—.d u r�-- <br /> Passed: PX <br /> Valid: •9 8,F, - <br /> Published: 'S.V <br />
