ORDINANCE NO. /Q/Z-ifV <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as <br /> provided by Everett Municipal Code, Title 19, Ordinance 3571, as amended, <br /> rezoning certain property from R-3 to C-1. (Rezone #1-84 Casino Road West <br /> of Casino Square Shopping Center) <br /> WHEREAS, on February 16, 1984, the City of Everett Hearing Examiner <br /> held a public hearing regarding the rezone of the hereinafter described <br /> property from R-3 Multiple Family Low Density Residential to C-1 General <br /> Commercial with a contract, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has delegated to the Hearing Examiner <br /> final decision—making authority on rezones, such as the ones described <br /> herein; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner rendered a decision dated March 2, <br /> 1984 wherein he approved the herein described rezone; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby adopt the Hearing Examiner' s <br /> decision; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: <br /> Section 1 : That the Hearing Examiner's decision rendered for the <br /> herein described rezone is in the best interest of the <br /> City of Everett, serves the general health, safety, and <br /> welfare of the citizens of Everett, and meets the <br /> purpose of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Section 2: That the proposed zoning change is based on the logical <br /> extension of the C-1 zoning boundary. <br /> Section 3: That the zoning map of the City of Everett, as <br /> established by Everett Municipal Code, Title 19 (Ord. <br /> No. 3572, Sec. 4 as amended) is hereby amended from R-3 <br /> Multiple Family Low Density Residential to C-1 General <br /> Commercial with a contract for the following described <br /> parcel: <br /> Commencing at the Southwest corner <br /> of the Southeast quarter of the <br /> Southeast quarter of Section 12, <br /> Township 28 North, Range 4 East, <br /> W.M. , in Snohomish County, <br /> Washington; <br /> THENCE North along the West line of <br /> said Southeast quarter of the <br /> Southeast quarter of said section <br /> for 30 feet to a point in the North <br /> boundary line of Beverly <br /> Park—Mukilteo Highway; <br /> THENCE East along the North <br /> boundary line of said highway <br /> 332. 10 feet to true point of <br /> beginning; <br /> THENCE North and parallel to West <br /> line of said Southeast quarter of <br /> the Southeast quarter of said <br /> Section 12, for 630.72 feet to <br /> North line of the South half of the <br /> Southeast quarter of the Southeast <br /> quarter of said Section 12; <br />
