• 1 is hereby amended to read hereafter as follows: 2 Bulk Sales Etc.--License Required: No person shall advertise, represent 3 or hold out that any sale of goods, wares and merchandise in an insurance, bankruptcy, mortgage, insolvent, assignee's, executor's, administrator's, 4 receiver's, trustee's, removal, closing out, or distressed goods sale or a sale of goods, wares and merchandise damaged by fire, smoke, water or 5 otherwise, in the City of Everett, unless he shall have first obtained a license to conduct such a sale from the Clerk of the City of Everett. 6 7 Section 4: Section 3 of Chapter 10 of Ordinance No. 295-74 (EMC 5.40.030) 8 which reads as follows: 9 Contemplated Sale--Fact of and Details to be Filed with Clerk: The 10 applicant shall submit to such Clerk, in writing, a statement showing all the facts in regard to the contemplated sale, with a statement as to the 11 reasons for such closing out, an inventory of goods showing actual purchase price, names of persons from whom goods were obtained, date of 12 delivery of such goods and all details necessary to fully identify the goods to be sold. 13 14 is hereby amended to read hereafter as follows: 15 Contemplated Sale--Fact of and Details to be Filed with Clerk: The 16 applicant shall submit to such Clerk, in writing, a verified statement under oath showing all the facts in regard to the contemplated sale, with 17 a statement as to the reasons the goods are distressed or for such closing out, an inventory of goods showing actual purchase price, names of 18 persons from whom goods were obtained, date of delivery of such goods and all details necessary to fully identify the goods to be sold. 19 l 20 , _, 21 WILLIAM E.
