• • f ORDINANCE NO. /p/a?— AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the northerly portion of Juniper Drive (Extension). WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, did by Resolution 2377, duly adopt and fix the 8th day of February, 1984, at 8:30 a.m., as the date for public hearing; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and determination of said resolution has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing, favorable statements and objections to the vacating of the herein described street were heard and discussed; and WHEREAS, the herein described right-of-way was acquired by Washington State Department of Transportation as part of the Interstate Highway No. 5 corridor; and WHEREAS, said right-of-way has been declared surplus to the needs of the Washington State Department of Transportation; and WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Transportation concurrs with the vacation of the herein described right-of-way subject to the payment of monies as prescribed by RCW 47.24.020; and WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett that the said street resolved to be vacated should be vacated pursuant to the terms and conditions of this ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the following described right-of-way: A portion of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M., situated in Snohomish County, State of Washington, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block 3, of the Plat of Sylvan Crest, according to the Plat thereob recorded in Volume 13 of Plats, page 60, records of said county; thence North 89 57'49" West, the projection of the North line of said Plat of Sylvan Crest for 45.18 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left whose radius center bears North 84 36'03" West for 2090.00 feet; thence Northerly along the arc of said curve for 175.04 feet and consuming a central angle of 04°47'55" to a point of reverse curve to the right whose radius center bears South 88°06'32" East for 69.84 feet; thence Northeasterly along the arc of said °curve for 72.89 feet and consuming a central angle of 59 47'30"; thence North 61 41'09" East for 9.1)2 feet to the beginning of a curve to the right whose radius center bears South 88 53'00" West for 2135.00 feet; thence Southerly along the arc of said curve for 238.57 feet and consuming a central angle of 06°24'09" to the point of beginning be and the same is hereby vacated pursuant to the conditions set forth in this ordinance.
