Respondent, Steve M. Hale is the owner of record of the property located at 420 47th St SE, <br /> Everett, Washington. (Exhibit#8—Record of Snohomish County Assessor's.) <br /> 2. The property is located in an R-1 Single Family Detached Low Density Residential Zone <br /> (Exhibit#7—Metroscan Property Profile.) <br /> 3. On December 5, 2008 a complaint was received by the City Building Division concerning an <br /> addition that was being constructed without permits and a leaning retaining wall. <br /> 4. On December 8, 2008, Chief Building Inspector Ted Budden inspected the property. Inspector <br /> Budden observed a two story addition to a single-family residence that was being constructed <br /> without the required permits. An Inspection Report that listed observed violations of the Everett <br /> Municipal Code (the "EMC")was generated. The Inspection Report also advised the respondent <br /> to "Stop Work" and obtain required permits. A copy of the report was posted on-site. (Exhibit <br /> #le- Inspection Report dated December 8, 2008). <br /> 5. On December 16, 2008 and again February 17, 2009 the respondent came to the City Permit <br /> Counter to speak with representatives from the Building and Planning Departments to discuss <br /> how to bring his property into compliance with EMC. <br /> EXHIBIT <br />
