Property is zoned: R-1, single-family detached low density. <br /> 3. Violations & EMC Sections <br /> Inspection of the property reveals the following conditions and violations: <br /> Conditions observed on the property constitute violations of International <br /> Residential Code R113.1 Unlawful acts as adopted in EMC 16.01 Everett <br /> Building Code, which states; <br /> It shall be un/awful for any person, firm or corporation to erect, construct, alter, <br /> extend, repair, move, remove, demolish or occupy any building, structure or <br /> equipment regulated by this code, or cause the same to be done, in conflict with or <br /> in violation of any of the provisions of this code, <br /> International Residential Code R114.2 Unlawful continuance. <br /> which states; <br /> Any person who shall continue any work in or about the structure after having been <br /> served with a stop work order, except such work as that person is directed to <br /> perform to remove a violation or unsafe condition, shall be subject to penalties as <br /> prescribed by law. <br /> EMC16.01.040 (Q) R114.3 Unlawful to remove or deface <br /> which states; <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to remove or deface any placard applied pursuant <br /> to this section until the required repairs, demolition or removal have been completed <br /> and a certificate of occupancy is issued pursuant to the provisions of this code. <br /> EMC 19.39.150 Required setbacks <br /> which states; <br /> (C) Structures and improvements. No improvement or structure may be located in <br /> a required setback area. <br /> The following specific violations were observed: <br /> 1. Addition to a single-family residence is being done without benefit of permit. This <br /> is a violation of the International Residential Code 113.1 as adopted by <br /> EMC 16.01 <br /> 2.
