DAILEY ENC,INEERING, LLC
ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERINCi CONSULTING
PO BoX 5 3l SHORELINE, WA 9 1 5 206- 95-9588
January 30, 2018
Site File
902 North Broadway
Everett, WA 98201
• To Whom It May Concern:
Based on our understanding of the definition of hazardous locations, the remediation
system at 902 North Broadway is not in a hazardous location.
The LEL of fresh gasoline is 1.4% (14,000 ppm). In our experience at sites where free
product has not been observed in the subsurface(which is the case at this site),TPH
concentrations in extracted soil vapor do not typically exceed 10%of the LEL(1,400
ppm). The highest lown photo-ionization detector(PID)headspace reading from a soil
sample collected at the site is 900 ppm, in August 2014.
Based on our experience and on available data, it is our opinion that the remediation
system is not capable of creating a hazardous atmosphere.
Sincerely,
Stephen M.
