• <br /> Section 1: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is' <br /> hereby annexed to the City of Everett: <br /> All that portion of Section 14, Township 28 North, <br /> Range 4 East, W.M. , described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 16, Plat of <br /> Intercity Garden Tracts, according to the Plat thereof, <br /> recorded in Volume 15 of Plats, Page 3, Records of <br /> Snohomish County; THENCE, West along the South line of <br /> said Lot 16 of said Plat to the Southwest corner <br /> thereof; THENCE, North along the West line of said Plat <br /> to the Northwest corner thereof; THENCE, East along the <br /> North line of said Plat to the Northeast corner <br /> thereof; THENCE, South along the East line of said Plat <br /> to intersect the North line of the Southwest quarter of <br /> the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of said <br /> Section 14; THENCE, East along said North line of said <br /> Subdivision of said Section to the Northeast corner <br /> thereof; THENCE, South along the East line of said <br /> Subdivision of said Section to the Southeast corner of <br /> the North half of the Northwest quarter of the <br /> Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of said <br /> Section 14; THENCE, East along the North line of the <br /> South half of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast <br /> quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 14 to <br /> the East Section line of said Section 14; THENCE, South <br /> along said Section line to the North right-of-way line <br /> of 100th Street SW; THENCE, West along said North <br /> right-of-way line to the East line of the Plat of <br /> Intercity Garden Tracts; THENCE, North along said East <br /> line of said Plat to the Southeast corner of Lot 32 of <br /> said Plat; THENCE, West along the South line of said <br /> Lot 32 to the Southwest corner thereof and its <br /> intersection with the Easterly right-of-way line of <br /> Loganberry Lane (aka 18th Avenue W); THENCE, South <br /> along said Easterly right-of-way line to intersect the <br /> Easterly projected South Lot line of Lot 16, Plat of <br /> Intercity Garden Tracts; THENCE, West along said <br /> Easterly projected Lot line to the POINT OF <br /> BEGINNING, <br /> Section 2: That upon annexation of the property herein above set <br /> forth, said property thereof annexed shall become a part of the City of <br /> Everett, a municipal corporation, and shall be subject to all its laws and <br /> ordinances then and thereafter in force. Upon annexation of the above <br /> described property, all of said property shall be assessed and taxed at the <br /> same rate on the same basis as other property located within the City of <br /> Everett is assessed and taxed, to pay for any then outstanding indebtedness of <br /> the City of Everett contracted prior to or existing at the date of this <br /> annexation. In addition, the annexed area will remain responsible unto any <br /> other lawfully formed municipal corporation to which the property is obligated <br /> at the time of annexation subject to a specific lien. Further, the City of <br /> Everett may incur additional operating expenses in supplying water or sewage <br /> unto persons who are located within the annexed area. Accordingly, utility <br /> rates for the area for which annexation is petitioned may very from those <br /> rated from other areas within the City of Everett. <br />
