• Section 1: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is' hereby annexed to the City of Everett: All that portion of Section 14, Township 28 North, Range 4 East, W.M. , described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 16, Plat of Intercity Garden Tracts, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Volume 15 of Plats, Page 3, Records of Snohomish County; THENCE, West along the South line of said Lot 16 of said Plat to the Southwest corner thereof; THENCE, North along the West line of said Plat to the Northwest corner thereof; THENCE, East along the North line of said Plat to the Northeast corner thereof; THENCE, South along the East line of said Plat to intersect the North line of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 14; THENCE, East along said North line of said Subdivision of said Section to the Northeast corner thereof; THENCE, South along the East line of said Subdivision of said Section to the Southeast corner of the North half of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 14; THENCE, East along the North line of the South half of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 14 to the East Section line of said Section 14; THENCE, South along said Section line to the North right-of-way line of 100th Street SW; THENCE, West along said North right-of-way line to the East line of the Plat of Intercity Garden Tracts; THENCE, North along said East line of said Plat to the Southeast corner of Lot 32 of said Plat; THENCE, West along the South line of said Lot 32 to the Southwest corner thereof and its intersection with the Easterly right-of-way line of Loganberry Lane (aka 18th Avenue W); THENCE, South along said Easterly right-of-way line to intersect the Easterly projected South Lot line of Lot 16, Plat of Intercity Garden Tracts; THENCE, West along said Easterly projected Lot line to the POINT OF BEGINNING, Section 2: That upon annexation of the property herein above set forth, said property thereof annexed shall become a part of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, and shall be subject to all its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in force. Upon annexation of the above described property, all of said property shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate on the same basis as other property located within the City of Everett is assessed and taxed, to pay for any then outstanding indebtedness of the City of Everett contracted prior to or existing at the date of this annexation. In addition, the annexed area will remain responsible unto any other lawfully formed municipal corporation to which the property is obligated at the time of annexation subject to a specific lien. Further, the City of Everett may incur additional operating expenses in supplying water or sewage unto persons who are located within the annexed area. Accordingly, utility rates for the area for which annexation is petitioned may very from those rated from other areas within the City of Everett.
