Review of the City of Everett <br /> Building Division records reveals no permits were applzed for or issued for this work. <br /> This is a violation of the 2049 International Residentia! Code {��IRC") R105.1 which <br /> states; <br /> Any awner or ctuthorized agent who intends to canstruct, enlarge, alter repair, move, <br /> demolish or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, <br /> alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing <br /> system, the installation of which is regulated by this code, or cause any such work to be <br /> done, shall�rst make application to the building official and obtain the required permit. <br /> B. Further there is junk and debxis,vehicle parts, a dilapidated trailer and a hot tub discarded <br /> on the pxoperty. This is a violation of Everett Municipal Cvde("EMC")8.20.Q20, <br /> which states; <br /> No person owning, leasing, renting, occupying or having charge or possession of any <br /> praperty in the city, including vacant lots, shall tnaintain or allow to be maintained an <br /> such property except as may be allowed by any other city ordinance any of the following <br /> conc�itions visible from any public street, alley or other public or private property; <br /> (A) Junk, trash, litter, boxes, discarded lumber, salvage nzaterials or other <br /> similar materials ira any front yard, side yard, r-ear yarri or vacant lot; <br /> (G) Veh%cle parts and/or other articles of personal praperty which are discarded or <br /> Ieft in a'state of partial construction or repair in the fYont yat^d, side yard, rsar yard or <br /> vacant lot; <br /> C. There are more than four vehicles parked or stored on the property in various states of <br /> repair. Each motor vehicle must <br /> be currently licensed and operable. <br /> D. It appears there is substantial auto repair taking place in the rear yard. This is a violation of Everett Municipal Code ("EMC") <br /> 19.39.160, vvhich states; <br /> Servicing, repairirag, asserrlbling, wrecking, rrtod�ing, restoring, or otherwise woYking <br /> on any vehicle on any residential premises in any zone distrzct shall be subject to the <br /> follow: <br /> (A) Work shal.l be limited to the repair and maintenance of vehicle, equipment, or otker <br /> conveyance, curren.tly registered as specifced in the Washington Yehicle Code to the <br /> occupant or member of the occupant's family, which shall be limited to parents, <br /> grandparents, spouse, or children related by bloocl, marriage or adoption.
