The 4-1/2 inch pumper nozzle shall be National Thread and fitted with a <br /> 5-inch STORZ fitting. <br /> Delete last sentence of second paragraph of 9-30.5(2) and substitute the following: <br /> Paint hydrants with two coats of high gloss Caterpillar yellow, Luxite 6100-516, <br /> Rost-Oleum 7448, or City approved equal. Paint the port caps with two coats of <br /> high gloss black enamel paint. <br /> 9-30.5(4) Hydrant Restraints <br /> Revise the first paragraph of 9-30.5(4) to read as follows: <br /> Provide either mechanical joint restraint system in accordance with 9-30.5(6) of <br /> these Special Provisions, or field lock gaskets for hydrant restraint. <br /> 9-30.6 Water Service Connections (2-inches and Smaller) <br /> 9-30.6(1) Saddles <br /> Revise 9-30.6(1) to read as follows: <br /> Provide Romac, Ford, Mueller, or City approved equal single strap ductile iron, <br /> bronze, brass, or stainless steel service saddle with C.C. (AWWA tapered) thread <br /> for 3/4-inch and 1-inch services. <br /> Provide Romac, Ford, Mueller, or City approved equal double strap ductile iron, <br /> bronze, brass, or stainless steel service saddle with I.P. thread for 2-inch services. <br /> All materials shall meet the requirements of AWWA C800-05. <br /> 9-30.6(2) Corporation Stops <br /> Revise 9-30.6(2) to read as follows: <br /> Provide Ford FB600 Series, or City approved equal, corporation stops for 3/4-inch <br /> and 1-inch services. <br /> All materials shall meet the requirements of AWWA C800-05. <br /> 9-30.6(4) Service Fittings <br /> ' Revise third paragraph to read as follows: <br /> Provide either compression fittings, or stab type fittings using internal grip and 0 <br /> ring seal, for polyethylene pipe. <br /> 9-30.6(5) Meter Setters <br /> Delete the second, third and fourth paragraphs of 9-30.6(5) and substitute the <br /> following: <br /> Provide A.Y.
