e • • • ORDINANCE NO. ?4: 3-14.2.? AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY EAST OF 109TH STREET S.E. (LARSEN ROAD) BETWEEN 7TH AVENUE S.E. AND INTERSTATE 5, NORTH OF 112TH STREET S.E. WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130, a petition was presented to thl City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain property; and WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130 wa signed by owners of not less than seventy-five per cent in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to b( annexed; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation did fix June 8, 1983, for hearing upon said petition, and cause notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a newspapei of general circulation in the City, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice a i published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invite interested persons to appear and voice approval of the annexation; and WHEREAS, following the hearing, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, has determined to annex all of the property describe in the petition as hereinafter set forth; I WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board did, at their Juli 26, 1983, regular meeting, decline to invoke jurisdiction in this matter; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same i5 hereby annexed to the City of Everett: I All that portion of the Plat of Broadway Farms Number 2, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Volume 16 of Plats, page 14, Records of Snohomish County, Washington, described as follows: 1
