0/ / ✓J / • • ORDINANCE NO. 9 /42, 1/111 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as provided by Everett Municipal Code, Title 19 , Ord. No. 3572 , as amended, to encompass an area east of 109th Street S.E. between Interstate 5 and 7th Avenue S .E. WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on May 25 , 1983 , I the Everett Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding establishment of the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning designations for the hereinafter described property for annexation to the City; and WHEREAS , the City Council determined, after hearing the recommendations of the Planning Commission at public hearings on June 8 , 1983 , and July 13 , 1983 , as required by R.C.W. 35 . 13 . 170 , that the Comprehensive Plan designation for said property should be Single Family Residential , 6 Dwelling Units Per Gross Acre, to be effective upon annexation to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the zoning set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett and meets the purpose of the Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that after reviewing the Planning Commission recommendation at the aforementioned public hearings, it has determined that said property should be zoned R-1, Single Family Low Density Residential, to be effective upon annexation to the City; NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: 1. That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by Everett Municipal Code, Title 19 (Ord. No. 3572 , Section 4 , as amended) is hereby amended to R-1, Single Family Low Density Residential to be effective upon annexation to the City for the following described area: Legal Description: All that portion of the Plat of Broadway Farms Number 2 , according to the Plat thereof recorded in Volume 16 of Plats, Page 14 , Records of Snohomish County, Washington described as follows:
