Because the restrooms in question
are close to elevator accessible restrooms, that by not requiring the full wheelchair
stall, there will be no loss of accessibility. All of our restrooms that are either
accessed presently by and elevator, or could reasonably assumed so in the future,
will be fully accessible including both a wheelchair and ambulatory stall. Those
identified as not accessible by wheelchair will have an ambulatory stall. All
restrooms will be otherwise fully accessible. We have also agreed to provide
signage that will direct someone from the non-wheelchair accessible restrooms to
those that are.
We appreciate the opportunity to work with the City of Everett on this so we can
optimize our restrooms to provide the best mix of accessibility for all, given the
somewhat unique restroom arrangement in the factory.
Leonard Astemborski
Permits Administrator
The Boeing Company
(425) 342-5343
ECEwF D
V
D
w cry 1 9 2008 0
CITY OF EVERETT
M e ervices_
-m
