April 11, 2018 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., April 11, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Murphy, <br /> McNeal, Bader, and Stonecipher were present. Council Members Moore <br /> and Tuohy were excused. <br /> Council Member Murphy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 4, 2018, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATHS — POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to concur with the appointment of Stephen Duke and <br /> Colby Droullard as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Moore and Tuohy who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office, and Mayor Franklin <br /> presented the officers with their badges. <br /> Mayor Franklin reported on her attendance at the Arbor Day celebration. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the Puget Sound <br /> Regional Council Growth Management Policy Board meeting. He also <br /> provided a liaison report on his attendance at the Snohomish Health District <br /> Board meeting. <br /> 117 <br />
