3601-18 ':.m.AEL/MFETT ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "South Precinct - 911 Expansion Project", Fund 342, Program 026, to accumulate the design and construction costs for the improvement project. WHEREAS, SNOPAC, a building tenant, has merged with SNOCOM to become Snohomish County 911 and requires additional lease space and parking at the South Police Precinct located at 1121 S.E. Everett Mall Way. WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need to make repairs and alterations to the additional lease space in order to obtain occupancy. WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need to increase the amount of on-site parking. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 342, Program 026 entitled "South Precinct - 911 Expansion Project" to accumulate the design and construction costs required for the project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Facilities/Property Management Director under the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. Section 3: The scope of work and cost of the project shall be determined through the Job Order Contracting project delivery method. Section 4: The sum of $480,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 342, Program 026 "South Precinct - 911 Expansion Project". A. Use of Funds Design 40,000 Construction $ 440,000 Total $ 480,000 B.
