Ditch improvement on the west side of South 4th Avenue from <br /> 49th Street to 47th Street. <br /> b. Construct a ditch on the west side of South 4th Avenue from <br /> Bigelow to Main Street and connect to the existing storm sewer <br /> on South 3rd Avenue. <br /> c. Ditch improvement on the west side of South 4th Avenue from the <br /> west end of Lenora to Ravenna Creek. <br /> d. Replace the existing culvert under South 2nd Avenue between 49th <br /> Street SE and Bigelow and upgrade the capacity. <br /> e. Replace the existing culvert under South 2nd Avenue at Lenora <br /> and upgrade capacity. <br /> B. Northeast Everett Neighborhood Improvements <br /> 1 . State Street - 18th Street to 19th Street - Construct curbs , gutters , <br /> and sidewalk on East and West side and provide storm drainage and <br /> overlay existing roadbed. (Estimated project cost : $60,000. ) <br /> C. Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvements <br /> 1 . Pedestrian walkway on Charles Avenue east of Friday Ave. Estimated <br /> cost : $5 ,000. <br /> 2. Install curb and gutter on 43rd Street from the alley west of Rucker <br /> to Grand Avenue. Estimated cost : $3,750. <br /> 3. Sidewalks replaced on the south side of street , 900 block of Wall <br /> Street. Estimated cost : $3,750. <br /> 4. Construct new curb and gutter on both sides and sidewalk on one side <br /> of the 3600 block of Friday Avenue , from Earl to Clinton. Estimated <br /> cost : $50,000. <br /> D. Riverside Neighborhood (Garfield Park) Improvements <br /> 1 . Improvements to Garfield Park ($16,699.99) . <br /> Section 3: Should costs be less for the above projects than originally <br /> estimated , projects receiving the next highest neighborhood priority shall be <br /> included for funding. If project costs exceed the estimates given, the lowest <br /> priority project or projects will be dropped for funding. <br /> Section 4: If any of the above projects is started but not completed, comple- <br /> tion of the project(s ) will be automatically funded with any 1984 Block Grant <br /> funds received by the neighborhood where an uncompleted project is located. <br /> Section 5 : All of the above projects shall conform to the requirements of the <br /> City Ordinance 555-78, as amended by City Ordinances 655-80 and 793-81 . Deter- <br /> mination of the appropriate standards to impose shall be made by the City <br /> Engineer. <br /> Section 6: The total estimated cost of the improvements herein authorized is <br /> $166,999.99 which will include all costs related to design , construction, <br /> contract administration, plan development and associated costs . <br /> Section 7 : The City Engineer of the City of Everett under the administration <br /> of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility of providing for the improve- <br /> ments as defined herein. <br />
