• • CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. yy7- =3 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Everett, Washington, approving and confirming the assessments and assess- ment roll of Local Improvement District No . 702 for the improvement of portions of 16th Avenue West, 75th Street SW, 80th Street SW and Hardeson Road as set forth in Ordinance No . 588-79, as amended by Ordinance No . 736-80, and levying and assessing the cost and expense thereof against the several lots, tracts, parcels of land and other property as shown on the assessment roll . WHEREAS, the assessment roll levying the special assess- ments against the property located in Local Improvement District No . 702 in the City of Everett, Washington (the "City" ) , was filed with the City Clerk as provided by law and the notice of hearing thereon was duly published and mailed, fixing the time and place of hearing for March 23, 1983 , at 8 :30 a .m. , local time, in the Council Chambers in the Everett City Hall ; and WHEREAS, at that March 23, 1983 , hearing the City Council, sitting and acting as a Board of Equalization, ordered the original final assessment roll for the District to be set aside and to be made de novo; and WHEREAS, a revised assessment roll levying the special assessments against the property located in Local Improvement District No . 702 in the City has been filed with the City Clerk as provided by law; and WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of hearing thereon and making objections and protests to the roll was published at and for the time and in the manner provided by law fixing the time and place of hearing thereon for the first day of June, 1983 , at the hour of 8 : 30 a .m. , local time, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall , 3002 Wetmore, Everett, Washington, and further notice thereof was mailed by the City Clerk to each property owner shown on the roll ; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed and designated in the notice the hearing was held, all written protests received were
