destroyed, the City may execute and the Treasurer of the City may <br /> deliver a new bond or bonds and a coupon or coupons of like date, <br /> number and tenor to the holder thereof upon the holder' s paying <br /> the expenses and charges of the City in connection therewith and <br /> upon his filing with the Treasurer of the City evidence satisfac- <br /> tory to said Treasurer that such bond or coupons were actually <br /> lost, stolen or destroyed and of his ownership thereof, and upon <br /> furnishing the City with indemnity satisfactory to the Treasurer. <br /> Section 11 . Form of Bonds. The "City of Everett Water and <br /> Sewer Revenue and Refunding Bonds, 1983" shall be in substantially <br /> the following form: <br /> UNITED STATES OF AMERICA <br /> (No. 1) ($1, 505, 000) <br /> No. $5, 000 <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> WATER AND SEWER REVENUE AND REFUNDING BOND, 1983 <br /> The City of Everett, a municipal corporation organized <br /> and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of <br /> Washington (herein called the "City" ) , hereby acknowledges <br /> itself to owe and for value received promises to pay to <br /> bearer, solely from the sources herein referred to, the <br /> principal sum of <br /> (ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS) <br /> FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS <br /> on the first day of July, , unless redeemed prior thereto <br /> as herein provided, with interest thereon from the date <br /> hereof at the rate of % per annum until such principal <br /> sum is paid or payment has been duly provided for, payable <br /> July 1, 1984, and semiannually thereafter on the first days <br /> of each January and July.
