1 <br /> CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> ICONTRACT PROVISIONS FOR <br /> HOT MIX ASPHALT OVERALY - 2018 <br /> WORK ORDER #3667 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals for the Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay - 2018 project will be <br /> received at the office of the City Clerk, 1st Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, <br /> Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 27. <br /> At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Public Hearing Room on <br /> the 8th Floor of the Wall Street Building. <br /> The engineer's estimate for this project is $2,891,589. <br /> The work includes, but is not limited to: The construction of approximately 16,873 tons of Hot Mix <br /> Asphalt, Class 1/2" PG 64-22 two inches (2") thick, on selected City streets, including grinding, utility <br /> adjustments, striping, channelization, traffic induction loops, and other work as maybe necessary for <br /> the completion of the project, as described more completely, in the plans, specifications, and contract <br /> documents, Entitled "City of Everett, Washington, Plans and Specifications for "Hot Mix Asphalt <br /> Overlay - 2018". <br /> Attention is called to "Lane Restrictions" for each location of work in section 1-07.23(1) of the special <br /> provisions. <br /> Questions and inquiries about the Contract Provisions should be directed to the attention of Gael L. <br /> Fisk, P.E., (425) 257 — 8909 or gfisk@everettwa.gov. <br /> Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project may be viewed on line at <br /> https://everettwa.gov/bids. Plan sets may also be purchased for the cost of reproduction at Bill's <br /> Blueprint (425) 259-0859 at 2920 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities. No <br /> bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the <br /> right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
