• 1 ORDINANCE NO. i/f3 2 AN ORDINANCE establishing a schedule of plan review and permit fees 3 relating to private work on public right-of-way and other private/public property coordination services performed by the 4 City of Everett and amending Section 17 of Ordinance No. 670-80 (EMC 14.28.125), Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3498 (EMC 13.16.030) 5 and Ordinance No. 2204 (EMC 13.24.010). 6 7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett finds that fees should be 8 charged to recover costs relating to staff time and overhead to review plans, issue 9 permits and field inspect private work in the public right-of-way and other 10 private/public property coordination services; and 11 WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the fees established hereafter 12 are reasonably related to the costs to issue said permits and to provide said services; 13 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 14 Section 1: All persons requesting permits to perform the following activities 15 shall pay the following fees: 16 Application Fee 17 A $20 fee is required at the time of permit application. The application fee is credited to the total fee amount(s) noted below. 18 19 Payment Permit Activity Balance Due Fee 20 Review Erosion Control Plans 21 Commercial/Industrial On Plan Approval $ 100 22 Subdivision On Plan Approval $ 100 + $10/lot Short Subdivision On Plan Approval $ 50 + $10/lot 23 Other On Plan Approval $ 50 24 Install New Driveway Access 25 to Public Right-of-Way Asphalt Apron (applicable only 26 where no C & G improvements exist or none is required) On Permit Issuance $ 20 any code size 27 Concrete Apron and Curb Cut 28 Residential On Permit Issuance $ 20 any code size 29 Commercial/Industrial On Permit Issuance $ 35 any code size 30 Open Cut Street/Alley Parallel to Right-of-Way On Permit Issuance $1/lin ft; $45 minimum 31 Non-Parallel to ROW On Permit Issuance $3/lin ft; $45 minimum 32
