SRV Construction Company submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $1,450,524.96. This is 24.6%over the Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost of$1,163,970. Higher costs are attributed to using earthquake resistant ductile iron pipe, and the requirement for night construction due to traffic lane closure requirements. Expenditures project to date: Budget Amount $1,300,000.00 Construction Bid $1,450,524.96 Advertising Cost $2,000.00 Additional Required $152,524.96 The original bid was received on June 27,2017 in the amount of$1,759,618.72. Council rejected all bids on July 29,2017 and authorized re-bid of the project. There are no supplemental bidder requirements associated with this project.
