GENERAL INFORMATION Project Title: Shoreline Master Program—Periodic Review Total Cost: • $30,000.00 Total Eligible Cost: $30,000.00 Ecology Share: $30,000.00 Recipient Share: $0.00 The Effective Date of this Agreement is: 07/01/2017 The Expiration Date of this Agreement is no later than: 06/30/2019 Project Type: Periodic Review of the Shoreline Master Program Project Short Description: The RECIPIENT will complete a periodic review of the Shoreline Master Program(SMP)that is developed and adopted in a manner consistent with requirements of the Shoreline Management Act(SMA),RCW 90.58,.and its implementing rules,WAC 173-26,including the Shoreline Master Program Guidelines(Guidelines). Project Long Description: The purpose of the SMP periodic review is (a)To assure that the master program complies with applicable law and guidelines in effect at the time of the review,and(b)To assure consistency of the master program with the local government's comprehensive plan and development regulations adopted under RCW 36.70A,if applicable.Local governments should also consider amendments needed to address changed circumstances,new information or improved data. Overall Goal: Periodic Review Checklist and draft SMP amendment or Findings of Adequacy. 6
