� FIRE ALARM COMMUNICATOR <br /> NFPA72(2013ed) 26.6.3.3.2 COMPLIANCE: <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.1—Independent Receivers <br /> The requirements of 26.6.3.3.2(a-c)for a radio a/prm repeaterstation receiver(RARSR)shall be satisfied <br /> if the signals from each radio a/arm transmitter(RAT)are received and supervised,in accordance with <br /> Chapter 26,by a#/east two independently powered,independently operating,and separately tacated <br /> RARSRs ar radio a/arm supervising station receivers(RASSRs),or by one of each,At least two separate <br /> paths shall be provided from a RAT to the uitimate RASSR. <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.1—GSS Satisfaction:Guardian utilizes RAR5R's in the Beilingham office, located at 1501 <br /> Kentucky St, Bellingham,WA.Guardian Security is not required to provide staffing(per 8.5.3.5�because <br /> the following criteria is met: <br /> • There are 2 RASAR units;both in secure locations within a UL listed area of the building. <br /> � The RARSR's are powered from different power supplies within the building. <br /> . The RARSR's both have independent antennas permanently affixed to the roof. <br /> � The RARSR's are independentlyoperating,and each have a unique subscriber ID. <br /> � The RASAR to RARSR connection is via fixed IR link. <br /> . Back up dedicated phone lines should the IP link fail <br /> � Supervision at Central Station(174315t Ave S,Seattle,WA)for communication failure,via <br /> proprietary UL listed{as part of AES listingj saftware. <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.2—Maximum Operating Time <br /> The end-to-end operating rime parameters allowed for a two-way alarm system shall be as follows: <br /> Please see NFPA 72-2013 edition for further text. <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.2—GSS Satisfaction:As part of UL listing on the RAT's,these criteria are met thraugh the <br /> manufacturer. <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.3—Supervision: <br /> Equipment shall be provided at the supervising station for the supervisary and cantra!functions of the <br /> supervision or subsidiary s�ation for the repeater station radio transmitting and receiving equipment. <br /> This shat!be accomplished via a supervised circuit where the radio equipment is remotely tocated from <br /> the s�stem unit. <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.3—G5S Satisfaction:As part of the UL listing of both the manufacturer,and Guardian <br /> Security's Central Station,this requirement has been tested and is in compliance.This compliance covers <br /> 26.6.3.3Z.3 A-D. <br />
