The summary included the key elements of an agreement agreed to at the staff level. It represented several months of discussion between City and YMCA staff. • The partnership agreement would provide Everett residents access to the YMCA's pool for 25 years and result in the donation of land to the City(from the YMCA). The City commits to develop the land into a neighborhood park. Based upon discussion at the September 13,2017 Council meeting, Council affirmed that staff should proceed with developing a proposed agreement with YMCA representatives based on the key business terms presented on September 13, 2017. Prior to council action regarding the proposed agreement, staff will present the proposed agreement's key recreational,financial and management elements. RECOMMENDATION:Authorize the Mayor to sign the Agreement with the YMCA of Snohomish County Specifying Certain Cooperative Undertakings to Benefit the Residents of the City and the Programs of the YMCA. 2 3
