ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br /> "Maple Heights Bridge Seismic Retrofit,"Fund 303, Program 113, <br /> to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is committed to a comprehensive bridge construction, <br /> maintenance and safety program; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett has identified the need and obtained funds to construct certain <br /> bridge seismic improvements; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 113, entitled"Maple <br /> Heights Bridge Seismic Retrofit,"to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 113, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the"Public Works Director" or"City Engineer,"under <br /> direction of the Mayor,to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and <br /> doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$1,534,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303,Program 113, "Maple Heights <br /> Bridge Seismic Retrofit,"as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Construction $ 1,534,000 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 1,534,000 <br /> B.
