EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA <br /> 6:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY, MAY 16, 2018 <br /> CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> Roll Call <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Approval of Minutes: May 9, 2018 <br /> Mayor's Comments <br /> Council Comments/Liaison Reports <br /> Administration Update on prior business <br /> City Attorney <br /> Citizen Comments <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: (These items come before the City Council serving as a <br /> Council Committee of the Whole and are likely to be scheduled at a future meeting.) <br /> (1) Briefing on redesign of the City's self-insured Health Management Associates (HMA) <br /> Medical plan. <br /> (2) Award Request for Proposal 2017-056 for Workers' Compensation Third Party Self- <br /> Insured Administration and Consulting Services to CorVel Enterprise Corp, Inc. in the <br /> estimated amount of $406,998, including Washington State sales tax for a three-year <br /> term. <br /> CONSENT: <br /> (3) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount <br /> of $1,155,055.23 for the period of April 28, 2018 through May 4, 2018. <br /> (4) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br /> amount of $4,045,939.64 for the period ending April 28, 2018. <br /> (5) Authorize the closure of a portion of 10th Street (between Rucker Avenue and Grand <br /> Avenue) on August 11, 2018, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., for 3rd Annual Hot August Nights <br /> block party. <br /> (6) Authorize purchase of four Ford vehicles from Bickford Motors in the amount of <br /> $174,742.04, including Washington State sales tax. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> (7) CB 1804-18 —3rd and final Reading — Adopt the Proposed Ordinance amending Section <br /> C of Ordinance No. 3486-16 (EMC 19.39.145, as amended), increasing the number of <br /> permitted recreational Marijuana Retail Stores to not more than ten and reducing the <br /> required separation between stores to five hundred feet. <br />
