The Water Department people reviewed your proposed new location for the fault. Unfortunately, the location you have
proposed which is about 600 feet from our meter does not do an adequate job in protecting our system from the private
system which is affectively a dead end with little water consumption. I have tried to depict the Water Department's
preferred location on the attached drawing. They think there would be room to place the vault alongside the Riverside
Rd. It may be a good idea to meet on site with Jim Spooner to ascertain the feasibility of this location. Piease get in touch
with Jim to see if he will work out a field meeting with you/the contractor/owner representative.
Kirk
From: Theron Davis [mailto:TheronDCa>firesystemswest.com]
Sent: Monday, November 21, 2016 11:12 AM
To: Kirk Brooks; Tim Markham; Jim Spooner
Subject: RE: Sprinkler system submittal for 25 E Marine View Dr/ K1610-002
G uys-
See attached response to my inquiry with assessor's office. My efforts to contact BNSF on
this matter led me to their real estate manager,Jones Lang LaSalle.True to Port of Everett's claims, their email response
is attached that describesjust the base fees and requirements to perform this work on their property. I also have an
inquiry in to Sno Co Assessors office to confirm owner of the land. Do you have any other knowledge of this property
where you're requesting the backflow to be place? Maybe not BNSF? Maybe an easement that precludes us from
adhering to attached requirements?
- `
 3 1
'i F
