7. The stair detail on sheet 3 is for an interior staircase. The plans show work to be done <br /> on the exterior stairs. Provide detail of exterior stairs per section R311 IRC. <br /> 8. Define thermal envelope. If basement is unheated then the floor above the basement is <br /> required to be insulated per the Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). Show insulation <br /> requirements on the plans. <br /> 9. Specify U-Value for all fenestration per WSEC. Show on plans. <br /> 10. Provide lighting schedule to show how the great room is provided with artificial light as <br /> required per section R303 IRC.
