Please review and respond to the comments below. General 1. The proposed PODS is classified as High-Piled Combustible Storage per the IFC. The construction documents should provide all required documentation in accordance with IFC Section 3201.3 to include commodity classification and size of storage area. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and/or the 2015 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire). All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes. Sincerely,
