The proposed PODS is classified as High-Piled Combustible Storage per the IFC. The <br /> construction documents should provide all required documentation in accordance with IFC <br /> Section 3201.3 to include commodity classification and size of storage area. <br /> • Commodity clearance between top of storage and the sprinkler deflector for each storage <br /> arrangement. <br /> Response: See Building Section at Pods 3/A2.1 showing the spacing between the <br /> top of the stacked Pods and underside of the main and branch sprinkler lines and heads,at <br /> its lowest point of the existing roof joists. <br /> • Aisle dimensions between each storage array. <br /> Response: Aisle dimensions are shown on Overall Plan/A2.1. <br /> • Maximum pile volume for each storage array <br /> Response: The storage array area has been noted on Overall Plan/A2.1. <br /> • Location and classification of commodities in accordance with Section 3203. <br /> Response: See Code Information on Sheet G1.1.indicating commodity types.
