Revisions are necessary <br /> before a permit can be issued. Please provide a response letter with two sets of revised drawings, with <br /> areas of revisions clouded on the drawings. Plan review will resume when the requested information is <br /> submitted and sufficient information is shown to ensure that the proposed structures will be constructed <br /> in compliance with all adopted codes. <br /> Please plan on inserting the revisions to the original plan sets at the counter, or for printer-supplied or <br /> mailed revisions, please provide two full replacement sets. We recommend that you wait to submit <br /> revisions once you have received comments from all reviewing departments (Public Works, Utilities, <br /> Planning, and Fire departments). Please check online at everettwa.gov/permits to see the review status <br /> of your submittal. <br /> Building <br /> 1. The access to the toilet room should not pass through the kitchen or food preparation areas, per <br /> IBC section 2902.3.1, as amended by WA State. <br /> 2. Access to the toilet rooms is required for the patrons of the food service, since tables and chairs <br /> are being provided, per IBC table 2902.1 for a <br /> 3. The total occupant load should be shown not to exceed 30 for the suite, per IBC section 2902.2, <br /> exception 4 as amended by WA State. A posted occupancy sign will be required, and should be <br /> shown on the plans. Please provide occupancy calculations per IBC table 1004.1.2. <br /> a. For an occupant load higher than 30, a second accessible toilet room is required. <br /> 4. A commercial kitchen permit application is required: <br /> https://everettwa.gov/DocumentCenter/Horne/View/111 <br /> Mechanical <br /> 1. The permit application indicates that the Type I hood is existing, but our records do not <br /> specifically indicate a Type I hood for this suite. Please verify if permit M1111-050 for the Shop <br /> and Go was the Type I hood permit for this installation. The only permit on file for this suite is <br /> the Indo American Grocery, permit B0107-025, which did not have a Type I hood at issuance. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), the 2015 International Existing <br /> Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), the 2015 International <br /> Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2015 Washington State Energy <br /> Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett.
