The submitted drawing indicates that the <br /> configuration has changed such that the same numbers of accessible stalls are provided, but <br /> the access aisle striping has been widened and the van accessible stall is less wide. The <br /> original configuration is attached. Although resizing of the van accessible stall is allowed under <br /> current code adopted standards, the reason for doing so on this restoration permit is not clear. <br /> Please submit a response letter indicating why this revision is proposed, and under which code, <br /> last permitted or current, for which this submittal is in compliance. <br /> Please note that federal ADA, FHA, and Fair Housing Accessibility Guidelines and regulations <br /> may be more restrictive. Compliance with these regulations is the responsibility of the owner of <br /> the building. <br /> These comments address building issues only.
