Verizon TAC SEA Dagmar—17048.214 September 18,2017
Structural Analysis Report Page 4 of 4
TOWER FOUNDATION ANALYSIS RESULTS
The analysis performed on the foundation system was based on the original drawings provided to us.
These drawings describe the maximum loads used for the design which are listed in the table below. In
comparing our calculated values with the design loads,we determined that all of the proposed loads
remain less than the design loads stated, and therefore the foundation system should be adequate as
originally designed.
Foundation Reaction Summary
Design Values Calculated Values
Moment(kip-ft) 1310 487
Shear(kips) 16 7.3
Axial(kips) 16 13.7
CONCLUSIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS
We have determined that this monopole complies with the ANSI/TIA-222-G Standard. No upgrades are
required for the proposed Verizon Wireless antenna configuration described above. All monopole
sections, connections, and the foundation system are within their allowable capacities for the applied
loads.
CONDITIONS OF ANALYSIS
This structural analysis is based on the documentation that was available to us. CG Engineering did not
perform an observation of this site to verify the accuracy of the provided structure and appurtenance
data, and we should be contacted immediately if there are any discrepancies with the information
stated within this report.
Our analysis is based on the assumption that the original structural design and all subsequent structural
analyses were properly designed and permitted per the applicable building codes, and that the structure
has been properly installed and is maintained to the minimum standards required by code. We assume
the structure has no known deterioration or damage that would adversely affect its capacity.
REFERENCE DOCUMENTS
The following documents were provided to us by the Client for our analysis. Excerpts from these
documents have been included at the end of this report. The full documents can be obtained from the
Client.
1.
